Recipe for dried fruit cake for Tu Bishvat

Ingredients: 4 eggs (M-L); ½  cup water / milk / orange juice (120 ml / g); 3/4  cup oil (160 g / 180 ml); 1 bag Barel cake mixure (500g); 200 g mixed dried fruit

  1. Add the eggs to the mixer bowl with the whipping hook and beat for 2 minutes at high speed until the mixture is swollen and bright.
  2. Add the oil and water (or milk or orange juice), and continue mixing at medium speed until the liquids are homogeneous.
  3. Add the contents of the mixture bag and mix for another minute at high speed (start slowly so that the powder does not disperse).
  4. When the mixture is homogeneous, divide the mixture into 2 English Cake molds or a round pan, and sprinkle the dried fruit over (during baking, they dip into the cake batter).
  5. Bake in an oven preheated to 160 ° C for 40-50 minutes. The cake is ready when a toothpick sticks in the middle of the cake and it comes out dryץ
